The Benefits of Coaching Yourself...

Life is not all the perfect pretty pictures most people post on social media.

Life is 50/50.

For everyone…

That’s including the super stars, the Bill Gates or the Jeff Bezos.

When things get rough, you could chose to binge on Netflix, on food, on alcohol, sex or other things, but for a more long-term and healthier option, you can learn to manage your emotions…

Indeed,…when did anyone teach you that? When was that topic taught in school? What grade was that in?

Heu….like NEVER!!! At least for me and for all clients!

SO HOW CAN YOU MAKE YOUR LIFE FEEL LIKE 80/20….

It’s not complicated, it just requires a bit of practice!

The tool you’re going to use is called The Model, and its components are simple and clear:

C-T-F-A-R

C for Circumstances, are the facts in your life. Facts are neutral. They’re factual. No drama. No opinions. Just Facts!

T for Thoughts, are the sentences in your head about the Circumstances in your life.

F for Feelings, are vibrations in your body. One word description: happy, sad, overwhelmed, anxious.

A for Actions, are driven by the Feelings. You act, react or not act based on how you feel.

R for Results, are determined by your Actions or by your no Actions. What you do will always create your Results.

Any problem you have in your life can be inserted in The Model. No matter what’s going on.

Our brain 🧠 doesn’t care whether you feed it positive or negative thoughts 💭

Like all good computers, all it cares about is to get really good at repeating the same thoughts over and over.

So what I recommend is for you to take a blank sheet of paper every morning or every night, and to do a Thought Download. You just write everything that goes thru your mind in that moment. It can last 5 minutes, 10 minutes or a bit longer depending on the day, but it’s not a very time consuming exercise and it can be very powerful.

When you’re done writing ✍️, you take the Circumstance or the Thought or the Feeling that’s troubling you the most and you plug it in The Model.

Your results will always provide evidence that support your thoughts 💭

By challenging your thoughts and being open to the possibility of being wrong, you will be willing to adopt new thoughts.

You will be willing to think differently about yourself. It will allow you to feel differently, act differently and ultimately produce new and better results for yourself and for your life.
